How Mission Ranch Market Is Caring for Their Employees and Customers

To Our Valued Customers:

As our community continues to deal with the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, we will continue to be here as your neighborhood grocery store. Our team is observing all federal, state and local health advisories; and where we deem it necessary we are adjusting our efforts to safeguard the health and safety of our employees and customers.
Employees Wellness Checks:

Mission Ranch Market is conducting Employees Wellness Checks with all Employees prior to the start of their shift.  The Wellness Checks screen for potential exposure to COVID-19 and for symptoms consistent with a COVID-19 infection.  Wellness Checks are an extra precaution we are taking to reduce the possibility of any Employees inadvertently exposing their fellow crew or our customers to illness.

Mission Ranch Market continues to emphasize to all of our Employees good hygiene practices and providing them with necessary resources. We are making sure every Employee at the registers has the opportunity to regularly wash their hands and is maintaining the recommended safeguards for both themselves and our customers.
We provide all Employees with gloves, and emphasize that they do not replace proper hand hygiene, which we know is one of the most effective protections from COVID-19.
In line with current recommendations from health authorities, we have also provided our Employees with face masks.
Mission Ranch Market has always been committed to providing a safe and clean environment and we have now increased the frequency of cleanings in light of the current situation our society faces.  Our team makes sure to pay close attention to high touch areas such as restrooms, register areas, grocery carts and hand baskets.
Understanding that maintaining a social distance is one of the key ways to ensure this virus does not spread,  Mission Ranch Market has taken the following measures to ensure our customers and employees maintain appropriate distance of 6 feet to avoid close contact:
  • We are limiting the number of people in our stores
  • We strongly encourage customers to wear a mask or face covering while shopping in our store.
  • We have ceased the use of reusable bags for bagging groceries  in our store.
  • We Monitor and mark the distance between customers waiting in line outside and in the checkout line.

As the situation evolves, we continue to look to the CDC as well as state and local health officials for guidance on the best health and safety practices.

We are closely monitoring the situation, and are regularly providing our employees with the most up-to-date safety guidance, as recommended by the CDC and other health officials.

We face this unprecedented challenge together as a community, and we are deeply grateful to all our Employees, customers, and vendor partners, each of who continues to play a vital role in our effort as your neighborhood grocery store.
